How EventPlanner builds checklists and compares products

EventPlanner connects practical planning guidance to products from multiple retailers. This page explains what the listings mean, and what they do not guarantee.

Product and retailer coverage

Product pages use the listings and retailer links currently present in our catalog. Coverage is not exhaustive: a retailer that is absent may still sell the item, and a search link is not evidence that the exact product is in stock.

Prices and availability

We display a retailer price only when the catalog supplies one. An in-stock label reflects the latest available catalog status, not a reservation or guarantee. Prices, shipping, taxes, promotions, and availability can change after you leave EventPlanner, so verify the final terms with the retailer.

Ordering retailer options

Available in-stock options appear before unavailable options, and listed prices can be ordered from lower to higher. Affiliate commission does not change this ordering. We do not claim market-wide price leadership because our retailer coverage is not exhaustive.

Checklist and budget guidance

Checklist quantities state their event-size assumptions. Budget bands are illustrative planning aids based on the scope described on the page; they are not quotes. Venue, location, labor, catering, safety requirements, tax, delivery, and accessibility needs can materially change a plan.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links are affiliate links. EventPlanner may earn a commission on a qualifying purchase at no extra cost to you. The disclosure appears near shopping links, and commissions do not change retailer ordering.

Corrections

If a product, price label, quantity, or planning statement appears wrong, tell us which page and what needs review through the contact page. We correct verified errors and update the reviewed date when editorial guidance changes.
